Just a quick one this afternoon and there are signs of wintry weather over the south but have yet to fully get going in some cases.
Sunday across other regions seems quite pleasant but is it the calm before the storm or just a breather from all the weather activity?
We’d love to get your reports as the southerly outbreak edges closer…

Certainly will be cold and snow may not fall as it appears more coastal but still can’t rule it out completely.

Its been a windy day in the Hutt, but otherwise relatively warm and fine. Clouds have been building over the last hour but it doesn’t look like we will get any rain just yet.
Despite being sandwiched between the two impressive systems, we will probably miss out on the really fun weather.

Heavy showers, some with hail in Invers with the odd thunderstorm thrown in. All makes for an interesting Sunday. Wind seems to be a WNW at the moment but if it turns SW, it’ll help clear it somewhat. 25 inside and about 7 out!

Lovely warm sunny day in Christchurch, has been close to 20 degrees, often get this type of weather before a very cold change. Looking forward to the chance of snow showers on Tuesday however!

Thanks for the report Cole.
A warm weekend for the city but yes the cold soon could more than make up for it 🙂
