Winter chill in the north

Frosts have hit the north once more and this continues the trend of a very crisp week but for much of NZ, it should be the last frost for at least a couple of days.

Reports are coming in from parts of the Auckland and Waikato regions, with temperatures nearing minus 4.

Temperatures overall are colder in the North Island, as the mainland has a slightly milder morning ahead of a cold front.
