Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny areas and increasing cloud, chance of a shower from afternoon about Northland. Some overnight rain. Light southwesterly winds tend northwest later on.
Highs: 17-18

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Mostly sunny, cloud thickens from afternoon in Taranaki and elsewhere in the evening then expect some overnight rain. Light winds tend northerly after midday.
Highs: 13-16

Eastern North Island
A mix of sun and cloud with light winds tending east to northeast in the afternoon, some late high cloud.
Highs: 15-16

Wellington
Sunny areas and increasing cloud, overnight showers. Light southerlies tend northerly in the afternoon.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny for Marlborough with some high cloud, thickening in the evening then expect some overnight rain. Nelson sees skies becoming cloudy in the morning, rain later in the evening. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

Canterbury
Mostly sunny with some developing high cloud, chance late evening spot of rain. East to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 14-16

West Coast
Sunny areas and increasing cloud, some patchy rain moves in afternoon / evening. Northeasterly winds freshen
Highs: 15-16

Southland & Otago
Mostly sunny with some high cloud, light east to northeasterly winds. Coastal Otago sees thicker cloud and cooler temperatures with fresher ENE winds.
Highs: 13-17
