Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mainly sunny with light winds, any morning fog clears away. Cloud a little more frequent about Northland in the afternoon bringing the low risk of a late afternoon / evening isolated shower.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mainly sunny with light winds, any morning fog clears.
Highs: 18-19

Eastern North Island

Any morning cloud breaking to mostly sunny weather, light winds tend northeasterly this afternoon.
Highs: 18-19

Wellington

Sunny spells with northerly winds.
High: 17

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with north to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 18-21

Canterbury

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, a touch of high cloud at times. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 17-22

West Coast

Mostly cloudy with the odd drizzle patch possible, especially about South Westland where drizzle becomes more persistent in the evening. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Southland & Otago

Increasing high cloud with areas of sun at times, some morning lower level cloud about coastal Otago breaks away. North to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 18-21
