Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mostly cloudy with the chance of a light shower in the morning. Sunny areas breaking through in the afternoon for the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. Westerly breezes.
Highs: 15-17

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly cloudy with the chance of a light shower in the morning, west to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 13-14

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny weather with a touch of high cloud possible, gentle northwesterly breezes.
Highs: 19-21

Wellington

Sunny areas with brisk Nor’Westerly winds.
High: 14

Marlborough & Nelson

Mainly sunny with a touch of high cloud possible about Marlborough, Nelson sees more areas of cloud during the day but still expect some sun. Breezy northwesterly winds.
Highs: 17-22

Canterbury

A mainly sunny day with a touch of high cloud possible. Light winds near the coast, breezy northwesterlies elsewhere.
High: 20-21

West Coast

Cloudy with showers, rain moves into South Westland in the evening then northwards overnight. Northerly winds.

Southland & Otago

Thick high cloud with the odd spot of rain from afternoon about Southland and west of around Queenstown, breezy northwesterly winds then easing in the evening.
