Anticyclonic conditions over the South Island bring mainly sunny weather today, expect east to northeast winds to pick up this afternoon along the east coast however bringing brisk winds. The North Island lies under a southeasterly airflow still, mainly settled in the west although expect cloud along the east coast and about Northland.

Cloudy areas and a few sunny spells, sunny spells more likely in the west and cloudier in the east. Low risk of a brief shower at times in the east. Breezy southeasterly winds.

Mostly sunny with east to southeaterly breezes.

Eastern North Island
Cloudy areas and a few sunny spells possible, east to southeasterly winds.
Gisborne will likely have cloudy skies all day with the chance of a drizzle
patch now and then.
Sunny with southeasterlies easing, winds tend westerly in the afternoon
about northern Taranaki.

Sunny with light winds in the morning then afternoon northeasterly

in the afternoon. Lighter winds inland.
