WeatherWatch.co.nz about to go Mobile

WeatherWatch.co.nz

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Along with Auckland forecasts the Weather Watch Centre is also launching a new mobile phone product on Monday.

WeatherWatch.co.nz will be optimised for the Apple iPhone and iPod Touch, providing quick and easy access to breaking weather news and the latest Auckland forecasts.

New Zealanders right across the country can now keep up to date with the latest weather news no matter where they are, and Aucklanders can easily keep tabs on the latest weather forecast all from their iPhone and iPod Touch.

The iPhone alone makes up 50% of web traffic accessed via mobile phone and support for other devices will be added based on user feedback.

The service is completely free, however normal phone data charges will apply, depending on your plan.

Just look out the window and you can tell whats happening, yes its good to get it now but whats wrong with an old fashioned newspaper or the radio instead of using a telephone.
