Hot weather is moving in to eastern areas of the North Island and warm weather for many other regions – however a colder change is coming towards the southern part of the country.

Rain may be heavy on the West Coast in the coming days but mainly dry elsewhere.

As we head towards the weekend another low and rain band is moving into both islands.
