Winter is on its way out – but there’s a (warm) sting in its tail for the North Island, in the form of a low pressure system developing in the Tasman sea.
For those in the deep south, spring will begin with some clear, sunny skies as high pressure remains dominant in that part of the country.
There’s a bit of coastal cloud around toward the middle of the week, but all in all it’s looking clear until at least Thursday for most of us.
