More rain mixed in with plenty of light showers in some areas today as a low continues to unravel over New Zealand, with increasing dry spells as we head into tonight.
The next couple of days see a few coastal showers but generally more settled than it has been. It should also be fairly mild as winds tilt west to north west for many areas.
Over the weekend the milder than usual weather continues on for many, ahead of a colder and windier change on Monday.
