There’s a big storm in the Southern Ocean later this week which will push windy to gale force westerlies up and across the entire country going into the weekend.
Friday and Saturday look windy and west to south-west driven.
High pressure starts to return again by Sunday – and may arrive just in time to block the next Coral Sea Tropical Cyclone from coming our way.
We have your forecast through to next week.

Right now, Central Hawkes Bay weather is like a shag that just popped out of the dam with an eel , damp and cool ,hardly ideal for those who planted thousands of acre,s in grain ready to harvest , apples hardly changing colour either , Yes just get the firewood cut for a early cold autumn .

Are we going to get summer back again, Had a gutsful of all that wind, and yet it keeps coming. When are we going to get warm, sunny clear still days? Really over it.

Cool, so no indication when its going to get better or anything. Just suck it up, and put up with crap weather,. Like we have for more than 2 years now? Brilliant.
