Both NZ and Australia have changeable weather over the coming days, from warm to cold (or cold to warm) as lows and highs track through.
None of the lows are especially stormy, but may still locally produce thunderstorms and hail in NSW and VIC, and in the NZ area we have some heavy rain around the eastern North Island, then a more wintry change next week in the south.
But high pressure is still the most dominant feature of our weather – as we forecast in our recent ClimateWatch update.
Also a big thanks to Neville Wallace – who interviewed us on his Taranaki radio show (for next Wednesday) and raised the topic of UV rays, prompting us to include it in today’s video!
