VIDEO: Tropical low may brush NZ on Sun/Mon, then westerly change

NZ’s dry weather is about to get drier – before the next wet weather chances from Sunday to Tuesday due to two different lows moving in.

The first low comes out of the tropics where it is currently a short lived unofficial tropical cyclone – the remnants of that come southwards on Sun/Mon but may mostly be offshore.

Then Mon/Tue a larger low in the Tasman Sea may move in, merging into one low pressure zone by Tuesday.

Despite all the action, rainfall numbers still may not be high for everyone – we have the latest.
