We’re entering the peak of summer now and this week the temperatures shoot up into the 30s for many places, some may even climb above the mid 30s inland and to the east.
However, we do have another cold change coming on Thursday with temperatures dropping as much as 20 degrees (huge change!).
This cold change will be shorted lived and gone by the weekend though. This weekend high pressure rolls in. Next week all eyes go to the north.
La Nina has peaked but we’re still in the middle of it so rainmakers are highly likely.
Modelling does show a low next week north of NZ that is one to monitor.
