VIDEO: Special 10 Day NZ (& Aussie) outlook

We’re back for 2024 and our first weather video takes an extra long range look at the messy weather pattern around New Zealand and Australia right now.

We track the highs, the lows, and where the tropical heat and Southern Ocean cool both lie – and are moving to.

SOUND QUALITY
– Apologies if the sound is distorting a little for some today, we’re a little rusty getting back into the studio!

PROGRAMMING NOTES:
– We have NO VIDEO on Wednesday
– We have TWO VIDEOS on Thursday (7 day for NZ + 7 Day Australia only)
– No video on Friday. Back again on Monday.

The Tongan eruption pushed massive volumes of salt water into the stratosphere – so now we have huge volumes of NaCl molecules – perfect for cloud seeding. i am sure this is contributing to the higher than usual rain events in NZ and Australia.

I like your new app on my phone but is it able to be downloaded to a desktop computer which is the one I use mostly for weather updates. Love your site, it is my go-to for weather.

Hi Kerry, thank you for the kind feed and for downloading our new App. As for desktop computers we have our two websites only for them, as they’ve been built specifically to adjust to all screens/monitors. We’re hoping we can find resources to create widgets in the future but at this stage we don’t have the money/team to build them sorry.

Hi Phill
At last
At last
Exactly what l said about the eruption and the global warming and rain months ago.
Finally someone else has realised the obvious.
Well done for putting it out to the public.

Take care
Best regards

Please note it doesn’t mean water went up then came back down! Most people thought that. But a warming that leads to more rain over years is now more than likely obvious. And thanks 🙂
