VIDEO: Rain finally on way for dry/drought zones this week

We have the latest on incoming wet weather for our driest regions as the first week of April kicks off Autumnal, with a burst of warm windy northerlies followed by west to south-west winds.

Wettest weather will be in the north-west of the South Island (the ranges between Nelson and Farewell Spit) but also other western parts of NZ – with eastern areas driest.

We cover the week ahead and likely rainfall going through to Sunday.

**Programming Note: Our APRIL ClimateWatch update will be out on Tuesday afternoon, April 1st (tomorrow).
