The same big high pressure zone is controlling NZ’s weather for at least another week, and right now it’s bringing in colder air – but the winds are easing for many. This means frosts and lower overnight temperatures.
However on Saturday those winds ramp back up again with a blustery, fresh, south to south-west flow pushing more showers into NZ (and snow flurries into the skifields).
We track the ups and downs of the temperatures over the coming days.
