Some dry and calm weather is back in the forecast for the remainder of the working week but this weekend a low in the Tasman Sea looks set to disrupt things by bringing in more rain, showers and cloud. Not everyone will get rain – or get much of it. In fact most regions lean drier than normal over the next week ahead.
As for the Big Picture – the Southern Ocean is still very stormy and continues to dominate NZ’s weather pattern, with the tropics very quiet so far – but some signs of life developing up there as we head into February.
Our next update is on Thursday.
