Another surge of rain and showers moves up the nation from the south-west bringing another temperature drop in the south – and more wet weather along southern and western parts of the South Island, and into the western North Island by Saturday.
On Sunday high pressure rolls in right over NZ…but retreats to northern NZ by Monday of next week as the next surge of strong to gale force westerlies arrive in the south.
We also have a quick update on Typhoon Kong-Rey making landfall in Taiwan around 5 or 6pm NZT.
*CLIMATEWATCH: Our November update will be issued later tonight.
