VIDEO: High pressure returns to NZ as lows grow in the tropics

A south to south-west change is moving into NZ over late Thursday and going into Friday – but don’t expect much rain if you live in northern NZ as high pressure comes on in for the weekend. High pressure dominates NZ into next week with a lot of dry weather.

Meanwhile the tropics continues to be very busy with several low pressure zones. There still remains a cyclone risk or two over the next week, but it’s not as straightforward if and when a tropical cyclone may form – we explain why it’s messy.
