VIDEO: Dry weather increasing, we track the showers

High pressure is dominating the NZ region for the end of January and the start of February, bringing drier than average weather to most of NZ and Australia too (over the next 7 days).

But it’s not entirely dry for NZ with some pockets of wet weather, which we track for you.

Big Picture and we see the tropics becoming more active but still no major storms to be concerned about – but it’s worth noting the lows growing around the tropics in the coming week could easily grow into something larger, but for now it’s no too stormy north of NZ, but certainly an increase in rain and low pressure around Fiji, Tonga and Vanuatu.
