VIDEO: Cyclones Trevor & now Veronica for remote Australia, Calm & a bit cloudy for NZ

Australia now has two tropical cyclones while New Zealand has high pressure keeping things calm. Cyclone Trevor will affect northern Australia for a few more days and may well strengthen again in the next few days to a Category 4 storm.

Meanwhile out west and another cyclone has formed, named Veronica. Both Trevor and Veronica are likely to end up unravelling over the Australian desert this Sunday and Monday, which isn’t something that happens very often!

New Zealand’s weather is very quiet this week apart from a few possible isolated afternoon downpours here and there. Otherwise it’s fairly cloudy, calm and mainly dry,
