High pressure is bringing mostly settled weather to NZ for Monday and Tuesday but it moves away mid to late week for a time as a weak cold front moves in.

Apart from a few western showers for the North Island – and this wetter change on Wednesday and Thursday for some – most places lean drier than average over the next week.
