> From the WeatherWatch archives

Some rain is coming for parched eastern and south-eastern parts of Australia in our special weekly 7 day outlook. It will also produce a small area of low pressure that will skirt up the eastern coastline from VIC to NSW, dumping rain between Sydney and Port Macquarie at this stage…with the potential for over 100mm in the week ahead if it lingers.

But there is some uncertainty about how long it will linger for next week – we cover the odds and details.
