VIDEO: Australia 7 day forecast: Temperatures are moving around more

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Despite summer heat this week in Australia colder air is spreading in across the nation over the coming days bringing a cool down and even some inland frosts around A.C.T.

Sydney will have a significant drop in daytime highs with Friday only reaching 18 degrees, a far cry from the mid to late 30s of this week.

Elsewhere and Tasmania sees some warmer air flows after a cold change today – but it’s still more unsettled than the rest of the nation.

Showers are fairly isolated to the coastal east of Australia, with Cairns perhaps the wettest of all the main Australian centres (although not that wet).

A few downpours on Wednesday through central Australia may spark a few thunderstorms around Coober Pedy and to the north of Adelaide.
