The east coast low that fell apart at the weekend will reform again this week and has the potential to drive in another burst of heavy rain to a narrow area south of Sydney. This rainfall area may still move around a bit.
Rain sets in this week for coastal NSW and even pushes into the A.C.T for a time. For WA a storm in the Southern Ocean will send a burst of windy nor’westers back into the south-western corner again this week and another burst of rain coming in for the weekend. It won’t affect the northern half of WA in any significant way.
Showers continue on for SA, VIC, TAS but rainfall totals are low than the past week (but a few surprises here and there inland).
And finally QLD, sunshine spreads further afield this week and weekend as a light sou’west flow removes most traces of cloud and allows plenty of sunny, clear, sky weather to develop.
