As far as a spring pattern is concerned, we’re not even at the half way mark yet and the weather coming up this week and weekend sure supports this, with surges of warmer airflows mixed in with the cold.

While polar air brushes southern NZ for a time this week, things do warm back up again as those nor’westers return, especially in southern NZ going into the weekend. But by Sunday and next Monday a brief shot of polar air may be worth tracking.
