Video: A few isolated downpours in NZ this week + Cyclone Trevor for Queensland

> From the WeatherWatch archives

High pressure dominates NZ’s weather this week but we will have a few drizzle patches and afternoon downpours here and there.

The week is both warmer than average and drier than average for many regions.

Over in Australia Cyclone Trevor has formed. Australian forecasters say Trevor will reach Category 2 power before landfall on Wednesday.

The storm may then reform again late week at sea and make a second landfall in northern Australia. We track its progress as a question mark remains about where the remnants of this storm may go.
