A southerly will drop temperatures across a large part of NZ ahead of more rain (possibly heavy) for Hawke’s Bay this week.
The southerly arrives first in the lower South Island bringing some much needed rain – totals do vary so keep up to date with RuralWeather.co.nz if you live in Southland, Otago and South Canterbury and need rain.
Wet weather then slides up the east of NZ and, unfortunately, looks to linger long enough in Hawke’s Bay to produce rainfall totals of 40 to 90mm, mostly around Thursday and Friday.
We have NZ’s forecast and a quick look at Australia and the (much quieter) tropics – with the forecast through to Sunday.
