Uniform temps across NZ

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Temperatures this afternoon are just a smidgen below average for a number of centres but there’s little difference this afternoon between North and South Islands.

Blenheim is clocking in with 24 degrees this hour with Hastings just 1 degree behind on 23.
Invercargill, Gore and Lumsden are feeling the chill in the deep south with just 15 degrees.

The far north is experiencing temperatures a little cooler than recent days and a coolish night is also on the way.

This morning eastern areas of the mainland saw the mercury fall between 3 and 7 degrees to give locals a taste of what autumn can offer, which is quite quickly approaching.
