Tuesday’s national forecast – rain clouds fall apart, high pressure grows

A very weak low pressure centre falls apart over Auckland and the upper North Island today while high pressure grows elsewhere.

NORTH ISLAND:
Rain most likely in the morning around the north eastern North Island (eastern BOP to Gisborne etc). There will be showers dotted around the North Island today, clearing as the day goes on. Winds are light in most places. Some showers will be heavy with the chance of an isolated thunderstorm in the north.
Highs: 16 to 21

SOUTH ISLAND:
Early showers clearing around Nelson and Marlborough with a settled, dry day elsewhere. Light winds. Warmest in Nelson.
Highs: 16 to 23

well it was weak here we got 10 mils from it was that the lowest total and we live a long side a fairly high hill and the creeks aren’t up so it didn’t get any thing much either what a load of crap
