Mainly sunny with gentle southerly winds. Cloud builds a little this evening with the low risk of a shower. Some cloud about western Northland during today with the odd shower possible.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Morning cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, Taranaki is mainly sunny from this morning. Southeasterly winds.
Highs: 16-19

Eastern North Island

Cloudy with the odd shower, especially about Gisborne. Cool southerly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Wellington

Cloud with the chance of a shower then breaking to sunny spells this afternoon, southeasterly winds ease later on.
Highs: 15-16

Marlborough & Nelson

Morning cloud (chance of a light shower about Nelson) then breaking to sunny spells, afternoon easterly winds about Marlborough.
