Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Northland is quite cloudy with a few showers moving in during the afternoon then clearing this evening. Sunny areas for Auckland, mostly sunny about the Waikato and Bay Of Plenty. East to southeasterly winds.
Highs: 21-22

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Sunny with light winds, tending onshore in the afternoon about coastal areas.
Highs: 19-22

Eastern North Island

Morning cloud with a chance of drizzle then breaking to sunny areas in the afternoon, clear skies from evening. Southerly winds tend easterly in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-19

Wellington

Mostly sunny with gentle northerly breezes.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with light winds tending north to northwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 18-21

Canterbury

Sunny with east to northeast breezes near the coast, light winds inland.
High: 19

West Coast

Mostly sunny with light west to southwest winds.
Highs: 17-18

Southland & Otago

Sunny areas and some high cloud, west to northwesterly winds about Southland and Central Otago. Coastal Otago sees light winds all day.
High: 17
