Anticyclonic conditions for much of the country bringing mainly settled weather, expect areas of morning cloud however particularly in the east. A few showers affect Northland for a time and may pop up about the ranges of Hawkes Bay / Gisborne late afternoon or evening.

Northland

Mostly cloudy skies with easterly winds, a few showers about mainly this morning.

Highs: 21-22

Auckland

Mostly cloudy with a few sunny areas possible this afternoon, light winds this morning then afternoon
easterlies.

Highs: 23-24

Bay Of Plenty

Periods of cloud with light winds this morning, northeasterlies towards
midday.

High: 22

Waikato

Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds.

High: 25

Central North Island

Mostly sunny with light winds, chance of a late afternoon / evening
isolated shower otherwise dry.

High: 24

Eastern North Island

Morning cloud breaks to afternoon sunny spells, easterly winds Chance of an
isolated shower inland about the Hawkes Bay / Gisborne ranges late afternoon or
evening otherwise dry.

Highs: 20-21

Western North Island

Sunny with easterly winds this afternoon. Wanganui northwards has light
winds and afternoon sea breezs.

Highs: 22-26

Wellington

Mostly sunny with light winds tending southerly by midday then northerly
again overnight.

High: 23

Nelson

Mostly sunny, afternoon northerly winds.

Highs: 22-23

Marlborough

Mostly sunny weather, light winds tend easterly this afternoon near the
coast.

Highs: 24-25

Canterbury

Morning cloud breaks to sunny spells, easterlies develop this morning
becoming a little breezy this afternoon near the coast. Light winds inland with
warmer temperatures.

High: 21-23

West Coast

Mostly sunny weather, light winds and afternoon sea breezes.

Highs: 19-23

Coastal Otago

Early cloud breaks to mostly sunny weather, easterly winds.

High: 20

Central Otago

Mainly sunny weather with light winds, tending southerly or southwesterly
in the afternoon.

Highs: 25-27

Southland

Early cloudy breaks to mostly sunny weather, light winds tend southerly
around midday.

Highs: 22-23
