Auckland & Northland
Any early showers clear this morning then becoming mostly sunny, strong southwesterlies die away later this afternoon or evening. Some high cloud moves in later this evening.

Bay Of Plenty

Sunny after any early cloud clears, brisk southwesterlies ease later this
afternoon / evening. Overnight cloud.
Highs: 18-19

Waikato & Central North Island

Any early showers clear this morning then becoming mostly sunny, brisk
southwesterlies die away later this afternoon. Some high cloud moves in later
this evening.
Highs: 16-17

Eastern North Island

Mostly sunny with breezy southwesterlies dying away this afternoon, some
high cloud later this evening.
High: 17

Western North Island

Mostly sunny with southwesterlies dying away around midday, winds then tend
northwest and freshen later this evening with increasing cloud.
High: 16

Wellington

Sunny or becoming sunny this morning, southerly winds die away. Northerlies
then freshen from this afternoon with areas of cloud developing. Strong north to
northwest winds overnight.

Nelson

Mostly sunny with high cloud increasing from midday, northwesterlies
freshen in the evening becoming gusty overnight.

Marlborough

Mostly sunny with high cloud thickening from midday, northwesterlies pick
up this afternoon becoming strong overnight.

Sunny areas and thickening high cloud, southwesterlies die out this morning
then northerlies freshen from this afternoon.

West Coast

Cloud increases from this morning, showers develop about South Westland
this afternoon. Rain moves into most areas overnight, heavy south of the
Glaciers. Northerly winds strengthen.

Coastal Otago

Sunny areas this morning with WSW winds easing, high cloud thickens by
midday with northeasterlies freshening this afternoon.
Highs: 14-15

Central Otago

High cloud thickens from this morning, northwesterly winds freshen. A few
brief spells of rain possible this afternoon mainly in the south of the
district. Overnight there is a greater risk of rain, especially west of the
Southern Lakes area.

Southland

High cloud thickens from morning, north to northeasterly winds freshen. A
few brief spells of rain possible this afternoon then there is a greater risk
overnight.
