An anticyclone remains in control tonight however there is still a fair amount of cloud about for some coastal regions and many North Island areas. A few light showers are possible Auckland northwards overnight. Gisborne may even see a drizzle patch or two.

Northland

Cloudy areas with easterly winds, chance of a shower at times especially in the east.

Tonight’s Lows: 7-8

Auckland

Areas of cloud with light easterlies, chance of a shower or two especially for the likes of Great Barrier Island and perhaps some eastern parts of Auckland
for a brief time this evening.

Tonight’s Low: 6

Bay Of Plenty

Cloudy areas with light winds.

Tonight’s Low: 4

Waikato & Central North Island

Cloudy areas with light winds tending easterly, cloud may break away
overnight.

Tonight’s Lows: 0-2

Eastern North Island

Cloudy areas with light winds tending southerly, chance of some drizzle
about Gisborne.

Tonight’s Lows: 3-4

Taranaki

Clear with a few clouds about, light southeasterlies.

Tonight’s Lows: 3-4

Western North Island

Clear for some while others see some cloud about tonight, light
southeaterlies.

Wellington

Clear with a few clouds about, light southeasterlies.

Tonight’s Low: 3

Nelson

Mainly clear skies with light winds, there may be some cloud towards
dawn.

Marlborough

Mainly clear skies with light winds, there may be some cloud towards
dawn.

Tonight’s Low: 0

Canterbury

Mainly clear skies with light winds, some cloud about South and parts of
Mid Canterbury this evening slowly spreads north towards dawn tomorrow.

West Coast

Mainly clear skies with light winds.

Coastal Otago

Mainly clear skies this evening then some cloud moves in overnight, light
winds.

Central Otago

Mainly clear skies tonight, chance of some cloud towards dawn. Light
winds.

Southland

Areas of cloud increase overnight, light westerlies.

Tonight’s Low: 4
