An anticyclone over the North Island brings calm and clear skies tonight, frosty inland. A northwesterly airflow builds over the South Island with cloudy skies and patchy drizzle out west, some high cloud in the east.

Clear skies with light winds.

Tonight’s Lows: 2-7

Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island

Clear skies with light winds.

Tonight’s Lows: -2-3

Eastern North Island

Clear skies with light winds, northerlies about the Wairarapa. Some cloud
about Gisborne with the odd light shower clears towards dawn tomorrow.

Tonight’s Lows: 1-3

Western North Island

Clear spells and some cloud, light northerlies. Winds tend southeast about
Taranaki.

Tonight’s Lows: 2-5

Wellington

Northerlies winds with clear spells and some cloud.

Tonight’s Lows: 9-10

Nelson

Clear skies, light winds.

Marlborough

Clear skies with light west to northwest winds.

Mainly clear skies with some high cloud overnight, light winds.

West Coast

Cloudy with light northerlies, patchy drizzle. Brisk northerlies about
Fiordland with showers.

High cloud increases this evening, light winds.
