An anticyclone covers most of New Zealand today bringing mainly settled weather.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Sunny with light south to southeasterly breezes. Some cloud may brush past exposed eastern areas like Coromandel, Great Barrier Island and eastern Northland.
Highs: 17-19

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Sunny with light winds tending onshore in the afternoon, some high cloud in the evening.
Highs: 16-18

Eastern North Island
A sunny day for Wairarapa, morning cloud about Hawkes Bay breaks to mostly sunny weather. Gisborne sees a few morning showers then cloud breaks away in the evening. Winds are mainly light with southerlies about Gisborne dying out in the evening.
Highs: 15-17

Wellington
Sunny with light northerly winds.
High: 16

Marlborough & Nelson
Mostly sunny with some high cloud from afternoon, light winds.
Highs: 17-19

Canterbury
Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds tend east to northeast in the afternoon.
Highs: 17-18

West Coast
Morning cloud breaks to sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds tend west to southwest in the afternoon.
Highs: 15-18

Southland & Otago
Sunny areas and some high cloud, light winds tend WNW about inland areas and Southland. Light afternoon ENE winds for coastal Otago.
Highs: 15-17
