Sunny areas and increasing cloud from morning, a few afternoon showers possible. Easterly winds develop by midday.

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Chance of an early shower otherwise becoming mostly sunny in the morning,
southeasterly winds.
Highs: 18-20

Eastern North Island

Cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle, the Wairarapa sees more frequent dry
areas. Southeasterly winds.
High: 17-19

Wellington

Morning cloud breaking to sunny areas, light southeasterly winds.
High: 18

Marlborough & Nelson

Mostly sunny with east to northeast breezes, any morning cloud breaks
away.
Highs: 17-18

Canterbury

Mostly cloudy this morning then afternoon sunny areas, northeasterly
breezes.
High: 16

West Coast

Sunny areas and some cloud with light winds.
Highs: 18-19

Southland & Otago

Morning fog possible then breaking to mostly sunny weather with light
