Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty
Periods of cloud and sunny spells, some late afternoon / evening rain then easing overnight. Northerly quarter winds.
Highs: 23-26

Western North Island (including Central North Island)
Cloudy with spells of rain pushing in mid to late afternoon then clearing overnight, a few western coastal areas may see the odd light shower from this morning before rain moves in. Northwesterly winds.
Highs: 20-24

Eastern North Island

Sunny areas and increasing high cloud with light winds, a few spots of rain
later in the day for the Wairarapa and perhaps Hawkes Bay.
Highs: 23-25

Wellington

Mostly cloudy with northerly winds, chance of a shower or two this
morning.
High: 19

Marlborough & Nelson

Cloudy about nelson with some drizzle moving in this morning then clearing
by evening. Marlborough sees high cloud with northwesterlies, cloud thickens
later in the day with the chance of a shower or two.
Highs: 20-22

Canterbury

Mostly cloudy, light winds this morning then picking up from the south by
midday. Some drizzle possible mainly inland this afternoon and evening.
Highs: 17-18

West Coast

Fairly cloudy with light winds from the easterly quarter, chance of a
shower or two any of which gradually clear after midday.
High: 19

Southland & Otago

Mostly cloudy with light winds, a few patchy showers clear in the evening
but expect many dry areas too. Central Otago may only see some rain in the
morning then drier from afternoon.
Highs: 17-18
