Bay Of Plenty, Waikato & Central North Island
Morning frosts then sunny in BOP and CNI – however chance of a shower in Waikato with morning fog patches.
Highs: 9 to 14

Eastern North Island
Sunny or mostly sunny. Westerlies. High: 14

Western North Island
Cloudy spells, chance of a shower. Winds mostly from the west.
Highs: 12 to 14

Wellington
Sunny spells and some cloud and northerly breezes.
Highs: 12

Canterbury, Marlborough & Nelson
Sunny with light winds after morning frosts.  High cloud later.
Highs: 9-13

West Coast
Rain in the south – showers more likely further north.
High: 11 or 12

Otago & Southland
Sunny spells and thickening high cloud with northwest breezes.
Highs: 8 to 12
