Lower North Island

Fairly cloudy in the west with a light shower or two possible, the East Coast experiences sunnier weather and some high cloud. Winds from the northwest a little breezy about Wellington.

Upper South Island

Mostly cloudy on the West Coast with the odd shower, sunnier for eastern regions but expect some high cloud. Winds from the northwest.

Lower South Island

Cloudy in the west with showers, high cloud for eastern regions and Southland. Southland may see a few spots of rain at times. North to northwesterly winds.
