Upper North Island

Mostly sunny with light winds in the morning, afternoon sea breezes.

Lower North Island

Mostly sunny weather with light winds in the morning, afternoon sea breezes. East to northeasterly winds pick up in the afternoon along the east coast.

Upper South Island

Mostly sunny with areas of high cloud, light winds in the morning and afternoon sea breezes. Along the east coast expect fairly breezy to brisk east to northeast winds.

Lower South Island

Mostly sunny with areas of high cloud. Light winds in the morning, northeasterlies pick up in the afternoon along the east coast. Northwesterly winds develop by midday in the west.
