Mostly sunny with west to southwest breezes after
morning cloud breaks away, some high cloud possible during the day.

Lower North Island

Mostly sunny weather with light winds tending westerly, northerly winds about Wellington. On the east coast mostly sunny weather
prevails with northeasterly winds, some high cloud.

Upper South Island

Mostly sunny weather with easterlies freshening along the east
coast (gusty at times near the coast this afternoon), winds tend westerly in the
west and northerly about Nelson.

Lower South Island

Mostly sunny weather with some high cloud, east to northeasterly winds freshen along the east
coast with northwesterly breezes in the west. Some cloud about Fiordland with
drizzle moving in during the evening.
