Upper North Island

A few morning sunny spells for some, expect increasing cloud however with northeasterly winds. Patchy drizzle moves in during the evening for most although Northland and parts of Bay Of Plenty may see drizzle from morning.

Lower North Island

Periods of cloud and southeasterly winds, cloud thickens during the day for most. Expect drizzle about Taranaki and north of Hawkes Bay from morning. Drizzle about Taranaki spreads southwards down through to Wellington in the evening.

Upper South Island

Cloudy skies with east to southeasterly winds, drizzle patches
developing during the morning for most with rain moving into Nelson and areas
north of Greymouth in the evening.

Lower South Island

Brisk east to northeasterly winds with mostly cloudy skies.
