We’re back and in our first video of 2019 we take a detailed look at the State of the Nation weatherwise as we approach the middle of summer.
We also take a look at the forecast up until Saturday and the weather pattern around New Zealand this week is especially unsettled with two big storms in the Southern Ocean brushing the South Island with heavy rain, strong winds at times and real fluctuations in temperatures which will make for hot and cold days.
The North Island isn’t as unsettled, although it will be windy around Cook Strait, hot at times in the east (pushing 30 degrees) and cloudier with a few showers in the west and around Bay of Plenty.
