Well, yesterday it was mentioned that eastern areas would be looking to get the nicer weather coming up and that worked out well today. Eastern Otago however still had showers due to a low pressure system just off the coast pushing showers onto the region.
Christchurch and Blenheim peaked around 21 to 22 degrees today while Napier and Hastings got up to around 23 to 25 degrees, now that sounds rather nice.
Tomorrow is looking quite good out east again however there may be some morning rain north of Banks Peninsula and about the lower North Island.
The rain system moving into the west of the North Island is mostly going to plan, any thundery type weather does appear to be quite subdued however could still arrive later this afternoon or evening about western Waikato then moving over to eastern Bay Of Plenty later this evening and overnight.
