School holiday report

> From the WeatherWatch archives

Term 2 begins for many students and pupils tomorrow and the weather during the April holiday break gets a big tick!

Mostly settled skies have prevailed for much of the 2 weeks and mild conditions particularly in the north and east have made the outdoors very pleasant for many.

The west and south of the South Island hasn’t fared quite so well with westerlies and rain or showers coming and going at different times. temperatures have also been on the cool side at times which has made the indoors a much more attractive option.

The first week of the new term is looking more changeable later in the week but nothing too significant at this point.
