Anticyclonic conditions bring mainly settled weather for New Zealand today.

Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Mostly sunny with southwesterly winds. After sea breezes about the Bay Of Plenty.
Highs: 23-25

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Sunny weather with light winds tending westerly in the afternoon.
Highs: 21-23

Eastern North Island

Any early showers clear then becoming mostly sunny, southerly breezes die out in the evening.
Highs: 21-22

Wellington

Sunny with light northerly winds.
High: 21

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with afternoon east to northeasterly winds.
Highs: 21-24

Canterbury

Mostly sunny with some high cloud later in the day, east to northeasterly winds freshen.
Highs: 23-24

West Coast

Mostly sunny with high cloud increasing from afternoon, Fiordland is fairly cloudy for much of the day with the odd shower especially afternoon onwards. Light northerly winds.
Highs: 16-17

Southland & Otago

Mostly sunny with some high cloud increasing from afternoon, light northwesterlies for most however expect easterlies about coastal Otago.
Highs: 19-26
