Northland, Auckland, Waikato & Bay Of Plenty

Sunny with light winds in the morning, afternoon sea breezes for most.
Highs: 22-23

Western North Island (including Central North Island)

Mostly sunny with west to northwesterly winds.
Highs: 19-24

Eastern North Island

Sunny with light winds in the morning, afternoon east to northeasterly breezes.
Highs: 22-26

Wellington

Mainly sunny, cloud increases from evening. Northerly winds.
High: 20

Marlborough & Nelson

Sunny with afternoon northerlies.
Highs: 21-26

Canterbury

Sunny with some high cloud later in the day, east to northeasterly winds freshen from afternoon becoming brisk at times about the coast.
Highs: 20-24

West Coast

Mostly sunny with light winds tending Westerly in the afternoon. Cloud thickens overnight with rain moving into South Westland.
Highs: 18-23

Southland & Otago

Mostly sunny with some high cloud increasing from afternoon, overnight rain. North to northwesterly winds for most although coastal Otago sees freshening northeasterlies.
Highs: 18-26
